Through the Women's Voice and Leadership-Guatemala project, Oxfam Canada provides crucial strategic support to Guatemala's only national Indigenous women's movement, known as the Tz'ununija' Indigenous Women's Movement. The project works on strengthening existing leadership, programming, advocacy work and collective action to ensure the Indigenous women's rights movement is in a solid position to advance gender equality and increase the ability of Indigenous women and girls to enjoy their human rights.

WVL-Guatemala is an important initiative in our work to promote women's transformative leadership.

See our resources section to learn more about the project's progress and impact. The materials are also available in accessible formats, which can be requested at

This project is undertaken with the financial support of the Government of Canada, provided through Global Affairs Canada, and the generous Canadian public.
