At Oxfam Canada, we know that women and girls are not free until they are free from violence.

The Big Picture

Throughout the Creating Spaces project, 281 public declarations and actions were taken to end violence against women and girls, and child, early and forced marriage.

We trained 181 service providers in women’s shelters in Pakistan on Violence Against Women and Girls case-handling.

300 cases of child marriage and other incidents of violence were stopped through the creation of 180 Community Discussion Centres in Nepal.
