Oxfam Canada is proud to participate in Capital Pride this coming weekend, celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the fundamental human rights of all people. Our commitment to these values is unwavering, and we stand alongside communities striving for justice and equality both here in Canada and around the world.
In this spirit, we also express our solidarity with the people of Palestine who have faced relentless violence and death in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip in the last year. Our participation in Capital Pride and our solidarity with Palestine are expressions of our broader commitment to human dignity, equality, and social justice for all.
Oxfam celebrates Pride as an opportunity to express our deep gratitude to our 2SLGBTIQIA+ partner organizations and activists for invaluable contributions to social progress, human rights, and equality.
