Working in partnership
We partner with local organizations to build their capacity to address systemic issues of poverty and inequality. We help these organizations become champions of gender equality and women’s rights, and provide a range of support that enables them to develop as strong, technically-competent, well-resourced and efficient organizations.
Working in partnership has enabled us to improve our practice, increase our impact
and become a more effective agent of change.
Development and humanitarian work
Our initiatives focus on:
- Enabling women's and girls' education
- Supporting women's economic empowerment
- Stopping gender-based violence
- Boosting food security and livelihoods
- Promoting active citizenship
In addition, we work with our partners to provide humanitarian assistance, including clean water, food and basic sanitation, and to help communities recover from disaster and become better able to cope with disasters in the future.
