Seven young Canadians who "want to live in a world where famine does not exist" have raised over $24,000 for the east Africa Crisis. They trekked over 300 km from Calgary to Edmonton from August 5 to 8th to stand in solidarity with those suffering through the crisis and to raise awareness and much needed funds for Oxfam's work in Somalia.
